Peruvian Nurses Protests!

The Peruvian nurses have taken to the streets to express their  ill feelings about the unfavourable conditions they are subjected to. In all ramifications they feel they are being exploited by their government and are subjected to all sorts of human right deprivation. They have lamented the low wedges and salaries they receive and discrimination from Leadership table in the country, hence they are now more that ready to face their demons head-on.

In the absence of nursing staff in critical areas of hospitals Essalud, the First Provincial Prosecutor's Office Crime Prevention decided to open a criminal investigation against the National Union of Nurses Social Health Insurance (SINESSS).

The complaint is justified that absenteeism has seriously jeopardized the right to life and health of patients. This was verified in the last week by representatives of the Public Ministry.

For example, on a visit to the hospital on Tuesday Guillermo Almenara abandonment of neurology, orthopedics, oncology and surgery was found. In the latter patients who require urgent surgery were found.

At its thirty-second day of the strike, over 200 nurses in Lima and provinces marched through the streets of Cercado, complicating the vehicular traffic on the Paseo de la República.
