Med-e-Tel Nursing (Telenursing) Abstract Deadline Extended!

For Nurses who are still in the process of writing their abstract and who still hopes to be in Luxembourg for the 2015 Med-e-Tel Conference in April this year, there is a good news here for you as the deadline for abstract submission has been extended till end of January. Below is the news from the office of the Telenursing Coordinator.

Hello Everyone,

We are extending the call for nursing abstracts for the April 2015 Med-e-Tel Conference (Luxembourg) until 29 January.  These would be virtual presentations, meaning that you could present your slides and make your verbal presentations via the internet.  It is really important to have nursing representation at telehealth conferences; we are an important part of the team in telehealth.  Your abstract need not be a report of research; it can describe an innovative programme or a new way of nursing that involves care over distances or other barriers. We will select up to 5 abstracts for Virtual Presentations.

Guidelines for the abstract would be as follows:

-Title

-Author(s)

-One paragraph (no more than 300 words) description of presentation. (No references, figures or tables.)

-Full contact information for the presenter (name, institution, location, email).
