Call for nominations-International Neonatal Nursing Excellence Award

The Council of International Neonatal Nurses (COINN) and Save the Children's Saving Newborn Lives program are recognizing and encouraging excellence in neonatal nursing by presenting the third International Neonatal Nursing Excellence Award to nurses working in newborn care in low-resource settings. Two winners will be selected among nominations from select countries* to receive this year’s recognition, for their commitment to working on the frontlines of newborn care in resource-challenged countries, where the majority of newborn deaths occur. The Award will be presented at the opening ceremony of COINN 2016 in Vancouver, Canada on 14 August 2016. Nominate a candidate by clicking here

Countries of focus include: *Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Central African Republic, Chad, China, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mali, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia & Zimbabwe
