The 9th conference on Virtual International Day of Midwife is coming up on 4th May 2017 at 22:00 UTC. This is an annual free 24-hour online conference celebrating midwifery and birth-related matters held to celebrate International Day of the Midwife and presentations may be about midwifery research, international midwifery (this may include the sustainable development goals),
midwifery education initiatives, midwifery practice issues, midwifery
philosophy, or Safe Motherhood. Presentations may be organized as
informal discussions, panel discussions, meetings or story-telling.
The organizers are encouraging midwives from different countries and background to plan being part of this programme either by participating or sending in an abstract and speaking at the special event. This will encourage idea sharing from different midwifery cultural backgrounds.
Deadline for abstract is 1st February 2017.
