In the series of meetings held by International Council of Nurses which includes NNA Meeting,Credentialing and Regulators Forum, ICN-ICM-WHO Triad meeting, which led to the World Health Professions Conference on Regulation brought together about 81 nursing regulatory bodies from around the world.
The ICN used the meeting to highlight the need for governments to invest in nursing an midwifery in their various countries to ensure the realization of Sustainable Development Goal and the Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
The World Health Profession Conference on Regulation focused on balancing the individual health professional and health services through evidence based credentialing, as well as issues of common interest in information sharing and global mandate influence on Nursing and Midwifery, Health profession and trade agreement and sustainable development goal .
