Holistic Nursing Conference which will off 15 contact hours for
nurses. All of our conferences are pre-approved for nursing continuous
education by the Pennsylvania State Nursing Association. The PSNA is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
We are
going on an all inclusive trip to Dominican Republic at a 5 star hotel.
The dates are 11/11/16 to 11/16/16 . The price includes hotel ( food,
drinks, room), registration for our event( 15 Contact hours for RN's),
non-stop airfare leaving from Newark airport( but you can leave from another airport and pay your own airfare), and transports to and from Punta Cana to our hotel (Iberostar Punta Cana Resort).
Since
some people will be leaving out of Newark Airport and other will leave
from another airport. We have many different plans. Remember that some
prices are based on double occupancy!

Damaris M. Grossmann RN, BSN, AHN-BC,RYT
Damaris has been a Nurse for 8 years with experience in acute care, rehabilitation, community health and long term care. She is a US Navy Veteran and served in the Global War on Terrorism in the military for almost 6 years. Damaris is a Certified Yoga Nurse helping building a global network of Modern Nightingales, Yoga Nurses, by helping those with chronic pain, stress & anxiety and relieving them with peace, health & wisdom. She practices Holistic modalities of Yoga Therapeutics, Meditation, Reflexology, Reiki, Aromatherapy, both in the clinical setting and private practice Health Connections Yoga LLC. Damaris has a passion for Holistic Nursing and is the member of the Tristate chapter of the American Holistic Nurses Association.
Kristen Luttenberger RN, MSN, CCRN-CMC,PCCN, APN-C
Kristen’s professional experience includes working as a RN for 20 years in peds, med-surg, telemetry, and intensive & coronary care areas; and is a current cardiac nurse practitioner. She has also worked as a collegiate adjunct professor and has been Morristown Medical Center’s Coronary Care Unit nurse educator since 2008. Kristen is currently triple certified with clinical certifications, however, she has always focused her practice and education endeavors in the American Association of Critical Care Nurse’s model of synergy. This theoretical model focuses not only as patients being biological, but psychological, social and spiritual entities. Her entrepreneurial lectures on various evidence based topics focus on patient holism inclusive of mind, body, spirit, and overall well-being. Kristen has been published three times on evidence based improvement projects & has been a lead writer for her unit’s Beacon Award received four times from AACN. Kristen will be speaking at the national level this May on targeted temperature management at AACN’s National Teaching Institute in San Diego California. Please join me in welcoming Kristen.
Terrence Shenfield BS, RRT-RPFT, NPS, AE-C
Terrence has been in the field of Respiratory therapy since 1992. He is currently the Education Coordinator of University Hospital ( formerly UMDNJ) in Newark New Jersey since June 2000. He is an expert in adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care. He has extensive knowledge in speaking at conferences locally and nationally. He is the owner of two companies that offer continuing education to health care practitioners ( A & T Respiratory Lectures LLC and ATECAM LLC). He has been practicing Ayurvedic medicine for many years and studies under Scott Gerson, M.D., Ph.D. (Ayu), M.Phil. (Ayu), F.I.I.M. He is currently in a Masters of Science program of the American College of Health Sciences of Portland Oregon and will completed with the program in 2016. He has extensive speaking knowledge on nutrition and aromatherapy.
