UPDATE INFORMATION ON THE 2015 BGM HOLDING IN GHANA FROM 21 – 25TH JULY, 2015

Greetings from the WACN Secretariat.
The 2015 Biennial General Meeting (BGM) of the West African College of Nursing is only 4 weeks away.  As we prepare, please note the following information.
1.Venue for the BGM    – Pentecost Convention Centre, Gomoa, Fetteh, Millennium City, about 44 KMs from Accra Mall.
2. General Departure from Nigeria for the group travel by road – Tuesday, 21st July, 2015.
3. For Air travelers – Please send in your flight schedule to the Secretariat/LOC Ghana – (westafricancollegeofnursing@gmail.com and  kwamenyante@yahoo.com)
4. Place/Time of Departure - Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital Compound, Yaba, close to Yaba Bus- stop, Lagos.


Shuttle Buses will be available on arrival in Ghana at –
1. The Kotoka International Air port
2. Ghana Nurses Association Hostel
 3. Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana Secretariat Complex GRA.

1. All Fellows/Observers to the BGM must carry their valid passports (ECOWAS or International).
2. All must have Yellow Card – showing evidence of vaccination against Yellow Fever.
3. All participants must pay the $150 registration fee in addition to accommodation (depending on choice) before allocation of room at the centre
4. Treat yourself for Malaria, because the temperature check for Ebola is still ongoing in Nigeria Airports.
