This project has to raise $5,000 from 40 donors by December 31, 11:59 PM EST to earn a permanent spot on GlobalGiving.Already approved by the GlobalGiving team, we invite you and all those who are committed to saving the lives of pregnant women in the low and middle income countries to donate to this project and help us earn a spot in the GlobalGiving platform permanently and as well support out project which aims in improving Maternal health in Nigeria.
This project will provide free clean birth and newborn kits to 10,000
Nigerian pregnant mothers living in rural communities thus saving them
from giving birth in a dirty and unclean environment at homes and dirty
traditional homes by quacks who may put them at risk of infection, other
complications and death due to poverty and inability to purchase
delivery items or pay for cost of delivery. This project will save more
than 20,000 lives of both mothers and newborn in Nigerian rural
communities.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI clicked the link but am confused as it says the total required is 100,000. Also, can you explan why you need it from 40 donors? that would be 125 dollars donated by 40 people - is that your aim?

Hi Debs The 40 donors is only the GlobalGiving write up to make it easily affordable for whoever wishes to donate. That doesn't mean you cannot give lesser or higher donations.
ReplyDeleteThe 100,000 was for a long term goal, written on the initial application to GlobalGiving open Challenge. But the aim is to at least raise $5,000 which will convince the GlobalGivibg team that the project is viable and important and can attract funds while on their platform.
