The International Home Care Nurses Organization (IHCNO) Conference is on service models, nursing roles and competencies in person-centered care in home-based nursing. These will be in relation to:
- Home-based care
- Palliative home care
- Care management, and
- Transitional care
The Conference was co-organised by the International Home Care Nurses Organization (www.IHCNO.org) and the Hua Mei Centre for Successful Ageing (HMCSA), an initiative of the Tsao Foundation (www.tsaofoundation.org).
The IHNCO’s mission is to develop and support a vibrant world-wide network of nurses who promote excellence in providing optimal health and well-being to clients living in their homes. HMCSA has practiced person-centered home nursing for frail elders since the establishment of the Tsao Foundation in 1993, as a primary principle of the organization is to promote ageing in place.
